The prevalent threats include data breaches, malware attacks, and DoS attacks. Underlying vulnerabilities in MIS systems, like complexity and legacy systems, create exploitable attack surfaces. The research emphasizes a multilayered security approach including system hardening, data encryption, employee training, and incident response planning. Fostering a culture of security is crucial for a human firewall against cyber threats. Organizations must continuously adapt to the evolving threat landscape.
